Thank you for visiting my website and getting involved in my campaign to renew North Carolina’s promise.

Over the course of 2016, I will be talking to folks in southwestern Wake County to hear their ideas for how we can make North Carolina the best it can be. If you have questions about my campaign or concerns about the future of North Carolina, feel free to contact me.

In the state Senate, I pledge to work every day to renew North Carolina’s promise of a high-quality public education, an economy that works for all, and a government by and for the people. Learn more about me, my district, and where I stand on the issues, and sign up for e-mail updates to stay informed about my campaign.

If you like what you read, I welcome your support. Every donation adds up, no matter how small, and I will need your help talking to other voters about my campaign. I cannot win this campaign or succeed in office without you.

To our future,
Susan signature

Speaker Tim Moore says DPI Secretary June Atkinson's call for a 10% raise in average teacher pay is "political." Really? With a 10% raise, average teacher pay in NC would reach the national average...from 10 years ago. We'd still be about $7,000 below today's national average.
